fogzywindowz asked: hi! your knitting is great! i can so some basic stuff but i was wondering how you are able to conceptualize and create things like your swimsuits and dresses? they are so beautiful i wish i could makes things like this... and what size needles do you use?
Concepting the garments is a funny thing for me. Its strange but I reckon what I foresee the garment being like in my head is never how it actually turns out. There is always something that changes, and I feel that the garment evolves the longer it grows. I think the best thing to remember is that most things can be made by just knitting simple shapes like squares, rectangles, and triangles and sewing them together afterward. You really can make anything that you want! Alot of it is trial and error, but that only helps you understand the process even more and gets you skills.
As to needles, I’m lazy so I like using larger needles, because its faster, but have been training myself to enjoy the finer ones as well.
I hope this helps! :)
